From where I dwell

This collection invites you in to my personal dwelling where I have spent the majority of my time during lock down. The shelter in which I live, have recently come to work full time and have found solace during a very tumultuous period. A place that was transformed from a home to a hub where work, play and relaxation are all intertwined.

What started as one painting, originally meant for my bare walls that I had come to look at and analyze day in and day out, became a body of work. As I finished one piece, it inspired the next. There was no defined colour palette except for the one in my head, the one that I saw every day and came to memorize after so many hours spent within it. Made up of inanimate objects that when looked at separately mean nothing, but collectively define where I dwell. Where I live, work, rest and repeat. The space I am the most comfortable and safe in.

The from where I dwell collection is now available to shop in person at the new Windermere (first three pieces) and downtown Shades of Grey Boutique in Edmonton, Alberta. Pieces can be purchased in store or in advance of pick-up by sending the artist a direct message through the contact page, or on Instagram.
